Engine: The bike features a larger more powerful Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine which provides 105 horsepower and 130 ft-lb of torque. It includes new liquid-cooled cylinder heads to improve thermal comfort for the rider.
Infotainment and technology: All analog gauges have been replaced by a large 12.3-inch full-color TFT touchscreen display powered by Harley-Davidson's Skyline OS. The system has touchscreen capability and supports wireless Apple CarPlay while Android users can connect via Bluetooth to stream media and calls.
Aerodynamics: The redesigned Sharknose fairing and windshield were developed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to improve aerodynamic efficiency and reduce helmet buffeting for the rider by 60% compared to the 2023 model.
Handling and suspension: The 2024 model is approximately 16 pounds lighter than the previous Road Glide Special. The rear suspension travel has been increased to 3 inches (from 2.1 inches) and features dual outboard emulsion shocks with preload adjustability.
