The iconic front with round LED headlight and 21-inch cast aluminum wheel leads the way towards the horizon. You casually grip the mini ape-hanger and rest your feet on the standard footboards, while the dragster seat gives you support on long tours. • Powerful big boxer engine — With a displacement of 1,802 cc and a peak torque of 116 lbs-ft, our largest boxer engine also lends the R 18 Roctane a unique riding experience and a respectable thrust when you need it.


• Impressive 21-inch front wheel — The 21-inch front wheel emphasizes the appearance of the R 18 Roctane. The high-quality, cast aluminum wheel gives this bike its presence.


• Striking mini ape-hanger — The mini ape-hanger is ideal for touring, enabling a front-wheel-oriented seating position. 


• Black, straight rear exhaust — The impressive boxer sound originates from the equally impressive exhaust system in dark chrome. Its straight shape underscores the horizontal, elongated design line of the R 18 Roctane.


• Round LED headlight — The full LED headlight has been integrated into a high-quality metal housing. An available cornering light as well as optimized low beam and high-beam headlights add visibility.


• Comfortable dragster seat — The comfortable, dragster-style seat provides support when accelerating. It offers a high level comfort and support in an upright seating position when you rest your feet on the floorboards.


• Hard-shell cases — Water-resistant hard-shell cases with black hinges offer space for up to 22 lbs of luggage. Their top-loading design makes them easy to open.


• Traditional round dial speedometer — The analog, traditionally shaped round dial with large, easy-to-read digits has been integrated into the headlight.

Big boxer for long tours

A bike with an uncompromising ride. Of course this bike features the largest boxer engine we offer. Generating consistently high torque, it provides sheer riding pleasure on long journeys. You can rely on 116 lbs-ft of torque between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. At 4,750 rpm, our big boxer delivers a whopping 91 hp. The exposed, high-gloss, nickel-plated drive shaft makes power transmission impressively visible.

Everything under your control

Numerous assistance systems make sure that you always have your bike under control. These include Automatic Stability Control (ASC), engine drag torque control (MSR) as well as optional Hill Start Control and reverse. Your three riding modes for more control and riding pleasure are Rock, Roll and Rain. And thanks to optimum seating ergonomics and plenty of storage space you won't have to do without the comfort you are used to on long tours.
