The 2026 Triumph TF 250-X marks a refined second year for Hinckley’s motocross machine. After making history by securing the 2026 FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship and Manufacturers title, Triumph updated the production bike with targeted changes to address the first-generation quirks.
What's New for 2026
Upgraded Clutch: A new high-performance Exedy clutch replaces the previous unit, offering significantly higher torque capacity and more direct engagement under extreme load.
Revised Breathability & Noise: Features an all-new airbox and silencer combo engineered to comply with strict FIM and AMA race sound regulations without choking the engine note.
Tuned Suspension: The KYB 48mm Air-Oil Separate (AOS) closed-cartridge fork and piggyback rear shock receive updated valving for better mid-stroke control and cornering stability.
Refined Electronics: Enhanced ECU mapping optimizes throttle response and smooths out power delivery across the entire rev range.
Aesthetics: Swaps the original look for a striking Triumph Performance Yellow in-mould graphics scheme. [1]
Quality of Life Fixes: Features a repositioned, more accessible battery tray layout and a redesigned oil-level sight glass for clearer maintenance checks.
