2015 Continental GT Cafe Racer

The 2015 Royal Enfield Continental GT is a beautifully styled, retro-inspired café racer that pays homage to the lightweight British racing culture of the 1960s. Powering the motorcycle is a 535cc air-cooled, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine that produces 29.1 horsepower and 32.5 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant features Royal Enfield's robust Unit Construction Engine layout, offering a highly visceral, old-school riding experience filled with plenty of single-cylinder vibrations. To handle the power, the manufacturer equipped the bike with a sporty steel twin-downtube frame engineered by the chassis specialists at Harris Performance. Suspension duties are managed by a 41mm telescopic front fork and premium gas-charged Paioli twin rear shocks to maintain stability. Braking is reliable and effective thanks to high-quality Brembo hydraulic disc brakes fitted at both the front and rear wheels. Visually, the model commands attention with its elegant wire-spoke alloy wheels, clip-on handlebars, traditional rear-set footpegs, and a sculpted fuel tank. Overall, the 405.6-pound machine represents a character-rich, accessible combination of vintage styling and uncomplicated mechanical appeal.
