Drawing from years of experience in the small engine game, the KTM 390 ADVENTURE R also features an improved gearbox and an optimized cylinder head.HIT THE HARD TRACKOff-road Ready SuspensionUpfront, a 43 mm WP APEX open cartridge fork with 230 mm travel keeps things in check, with adjustable compression and rebound in 30 easy clicks to easy adjustment. On the rear, any big hits are handled by a WP APEX Separate piston shock absorber with 230 mm of travel. The shock is also rebound adjustable with 20 clicks on the fly, while preload adjustment can be taken care of with a tool.SUPERIOR CONTROLBodyworkThe KTM 390 ADVENTURE range features distinctive KTM-style bodywork and graphics, providing excellent ergonomics and an aggressive look inspired by KTM's vast Rally racing heritage. This can be seen in everything from the headlight mask to the front fender. The tank spoilers and rear side panels are slightly wider than the seat for optimized control when standing on the pegs, while the shape of the fuel tank is optimized to offer freedom of movement when tackling tricky technical terrain. A robust engine guard also makes its intentions known by protecting the engine and exhaust when venturing off the tarmac into the dirt.ALL-ROUND COMFORTFrameThe KTM 390 ADVENTURE range features an ultra-lightweight yet extremely stable trellis 2-piece frame. This frame provides the backbone and is a major element accounting for its nimble handling and forgiving balance of flex and stiffness.
