2023 Yamaha MT 09

The 2023 Yamaha MT 09 cuts through the crowd with its muscular performance and premium engineering, anchored by a liquid-cooled, inline 3-cylinder engine that displaces 890 cc. The bike blends aggression with a refined chassis, delivering a precise balance of power and handling that speaks to riders who want a spirited ride without compromising control. Its forged aluminum wheels and exposed twin-spar frame emphasize a performance-first silhouette, while the digital instrumentation keeps you in command at a glance.

Capability and ride quality come together with KYB 41 mm inverted forks at the front and a rear twin-sided swing arm with a single shock that is adjustable for preload and rebound damping. Front brakes use dual hydraulic discs for confident stopping, complemented by a linked brake system between front and rear for consistent feel. The MT 09 rides on tubeless tires sized 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/55 ZR17 at the rear, with a front wheel diameter of 17 inches and a wheelbase of 56.3 inches to balance stability and agility. The seat height sits at 32.5 inches, while the fuel tank holds 3.7 gallons, helping you stretch miles between fills. Add features like a 12-volt power outlet and a digital trip computer to stay connected on longer rides.

With its race-inspired DOHC configuration and 6-speed manual transmission, the Yamaha MT-09 offers a focused, rider-centric experience built on premium materials and precise engineering. It’s crafted for riders who crave responsive acceleration and deliberate feedback from the chassis. View the Yamaha MT-09 at Vallely Sport & Marine.
