Combining BMW's legendary GS platform with a massive fuel capacity, long-distance comfort, serious off-road capability, and advanced technology, the R 1300 GS Adventure is designed to tackle everything from remote backcountry routes to cross-country touring.

At the heart of the GS Adventure is BMW's 1,300cc ShiftCam boxer twin, producing 145 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque. The engine delivers strong, usable power throughout the rev range while maintaining the smooth, distinctive character that has made BMW's boxer engine a staple of the GS family.

The Adventure's chassis is engineered to handle a wide variety of terrain. Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) electronically adapts suspension damping while also accounting for load, helping maintain a controlled ride whether you're traveling solo, carrying luggage, or riding with a passenger. The GS Adventure also features extensive mounting points and attachment options for luggage and accessories, making it easy to configure the bike for extended expeditions.

One of the defining features of the R 1300 GS Adventure is its enormous 7.9-gallon fuel tank, giving riders the range to spend more time exploring and less time searching for fuel.
