St. Paul Harley-Davidson® is an institution in the Minnesota motorcycling community, rich in history and tradition. Located just off I-94 at the Century Exit in St. Paul, you can't help but notice our 100' tall Bar & Shield sign and our massive showroom as you drive down the Interstate! At a time when motorcycles were just starting to grow in popularity, a man named Howard W. Belmont became passionate about the developing sport at a young age, and in 1939, Howard's mother took out a mortgage on their home so that he could open the motorcycle shop that is now St. Paul Harley-Davidson®, incorporated in 1945. Howard's business opened at 277 West Seventh Street in Saint Paul and quickly became a community landmark. The store was then sold to and ran by Bob and Judy Crawford and then Tom and Melanie Giannetti until purchased in August of 2018 by two industry Veterans, Dale Rhoads and Justin Johnson. Dale and Justin have both achieved some of the highest accolades in the Harley-Davidson Dealership Operations field and plan to take their years of success and strong customer service backgrounds into St. Paul Harley-Davidson to continue its reputation as "The Place To Go" for all things Harley in the Twin Cities Market. Once working together in their early careers as powersports enthusiasts, northeast Iowa natives John Jennerjohn and Brody Meier are now back together again as new owners of Iron Hill Harley-Davidson, Iron Hill Powersports, and Great River Harley-Davidson® after having purchased the long-standing Waukon Harley-Davidson®, Waukon Powersports and La Crosse Area Harley-Davidson from Irv Fosaaen and Patty Nordheim. One would be hard-pressed to find a Harley-Davidson® dealership and ownership opportunity such as this one any closer to home for the Iowa natives. Their new Waukon and Onalaska venture will be within an hour or two of their respective hometowns where they grew up. Jennerjohn and Meier are hoping to carry on what they know is a long-standing legacy in all those business locations. “Patty and Irv have created a legacy with a great reputation,” the new owners shared. “Our goal is to build on the hard work they put in for 42 years and continue a family-owned business.
