Hit The Big Stuff BRINGING THE BACKBONE - FRAME: The 2025 KTM 85 SX boasts a completely new high-strength chromium molybdenum steel frame design, taken over the full-sized KTM SX range. Together with forged connecting parts, carefully calculated parameters of longitudinal flex and torsional rigidity, and incorporated sheet metal parts allow tailor-made stiffness. The new frame layout features a typical MX design without any cross tube behind the steering head. The rear shock mount is separated from the main upper frame tube like our full-size models, with frame protectors as standard. RIGID REINFORCEMENT - SUBFRAME: Now pay attention; this is a mouthful - 1-piece polyamide glass-fiber-reinforced aluminum. That's what the subframe is constructed from, for good reason. Not only does this reduce the weight of the whole construction, but it also features specifically engineered rigidity, delivering outstanding handling and rider feedback.
