H-D REVELATION™ POWERTRAIN:

 

The permanent magnet electric motor can produce 100 percent of its rated torque instantly – it’s the reason for LiveWire® motorcycle's incredible acceleration. It’s located below the battery to lower the center of gravity for easier handling.

 

 

RIDE MODES:

 

LiveWire® offers seven selectable Ride Modes that electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle and the level of Reflex™ Defensive Rider Systems (RDRS) intervention. Each Ride Mode consists of a specific combination of power, regeneration, throttle response, and traction control settings. LiveWire® comes with four pre-programmed modes: sport, road, range, and rain, along with three ride modes the rider can customize.

<b>01 - What are the charging options for the LiveWire® motorcycle?</b>

 

The LiveWire® can be charged at any compatible charging station, or with its on-board charger and a standard household outlet.

 

• Level 1 (standard household outlet): 13 miles range per hour of charge

 

• Level 2: LiveWire® can be connected to a Level 2 charge unit but will be charged at the Level 1 rate

 

• DC Fast Charge: 192 miles range per hour charged.

The LiveWire® can be charged at any compatible charging station using any market-specific DC Fast Charge station

The LiveWire® motorcycle is powered by an H-D Revelation™ permanent-magnet electric motor rated at 105 horsepower (78kW) and producing 86 ft. lbs. of torque.

 

 

<b>04 - How easy is it to maintain LiveWire®?</b>

 

The LiveWire® motorcycle is convenient to own because many of the routine maintenance items required of a motorcycle powered by an internal combustion engine are eliminated: there's no engine oil to change, and no spark plugs, air filter or primary drive to service. Electric power also eliminates maintenance issues associated with ethanol gasoline and off-season storage. The LiveWire® motorcycle does require inspection or service of some mechanical and consumable items, such as the drive belt tension, brake fluid, and brake pads, and tires, at recommended intervals and pre-ride.

 

 

* Riding range estimates provided following the WMTC 134/2014 Annex VII Appendix 3.3 is based on the expected performance of a fully-charged battery when operated under specific conditions. The actual range will vary depending on riding habits, ambient weather and equipment conditions. Range, as shown, is with maximum power and max and minimum regeneration selected.
