2006 Yamaha R1

Updating an already highly desired sportbike in 2006, the revised R1’s upgraded frame, extended swingarm, and improved front forks enhanced handling, traction, and responsiveness, while a modified cylinder head added an extra three horsepower– making it an unparalleled motorcycle that seamlessly combined performance, style, and maneuverability. This bike has been through our service department and passed an 105 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs have also performed a valve adjustment, flushed the cooling system and installed a new chain. This black R1 was received as a trade-in and features some nice goodies such as the Helibars TracStar setup that provides additional adjustability and comfort, as well as the carbon fiber Grave’s exhaust system that sounds fantastic at all rpms.
