2017 Yamaha R6

Last updated for the 2017 model year, the more slippery YZF-R6 is powered by a high-revving inline-four engine that loves to scream—to the tune of nearly 16,000 rpm. Although the powertrain is 11 years old, the R6’s I4 remains modern in terms of feel and performance courtesy its variable intake system (YCC-I) and adjustable D-Mode throttle mapping. It also benefits from Yamaha’s 2012-gen YZF-R1 traction control system, a big plus for those who ride on the street, especially in inclement weather. This bike has been through our service department and passed an 105 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also replace drive chain and battery. This late generation R6 was brought to us by a local rider loaded with aftermarket goodies including a full Akrapovic exhaust system that typically retails for $1,999.
