As the foundation for the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing machines set to compete in the 2022 AMA Supercross season, the FC 450 Rockstar Edition is an all-new, competition-focused motorcycle built to perform at the very highest level of offroad racing. With a redesigned cylinder head, increased compression, and a refined gearbox, Husqvarna Motorcycles' engineers have unlocked even more power from the SOHC 450 cc engine. Complete with a new frame and lighter, better performing WP Suspension for improved handling, the revised machine is complete with new bodywork, which is adorned with the latest Rockstar Energy Husqvarna replica graphic kit.

• FMF exhaust system

Designed from lightweight aluminum, the exhaust system on the FC 450 Rockstar Edition features a flow-designed resonance chamber that is integrated into the header pipe. The silencer has a short and compact design, delivering impressive power output while keeping decibels as low as possible.

• Factory wheel set

Superior craftsmanship at its finest. Black anodized D.I.D. DirtStar rims laced to CNC-machined aluminum hubs using high quality spokes creates an exceptionally strong pair of wheels. Not only incredibly robust, the weight savings achieved with the Factory Wheel Set contribute to the overall handling of the FC 450 Rockstar Edition thanks to the reduction in unsprung weight.

• Bodywork

With bodywork redesigned to enhance unrestricted movements on the motorcycle, all riders can perform at their very best for extended periods of time. • Fork

Featuring a capsulated air spring and pressurized oil chamber, the new WP XACT 48 mm split air fork delivers incredible performance. With oil and air bypasses reducing pressure peaks, in combination with a mid-valve damping system the fork provides exceptional feedback and rider comfort. A new hydrostop system creates a more progressive damping force in the last 40 mm of travel for improved bottoming resistance.

• Engine

The new SOHC, 450 cc engine is the result of advanced engineering techniques and tips the scales at just 59 lb (26.8 kg). Mass-centralization of the key components was key during the design process, as was repositioning the engine closer to the center of gravity for improved handling and agility. This was achieved by tilting the engine 2 degrees backwards, which resulted in the countershaft sprocket being positioned 3 mm lower. The end result is significantly improved anti-squat behavior from the chassis for smoother acceleration on rough terrain.
