The Genuine Scooter Company, based out of Chicago, is the importer of many of the best selling and highest-quality scooters in their class. Scooterville Minnesota has been a top-ten US Genuine dealer for ten years running, thanks to fantastic support from scooterists in the Twin Cities since 2002. Alongside favorites like the Buddy, Roughhouse, and Royal Alloy lines; Genuine imported the famous Stella two-stroke and four-stroke shifter scooters until they were discontinued in 2013 in favor of the Stella Automatic. This was the last scooter that could be outfitted with a sidecar with relative ease at dealerships. In the ten years since, the scooter sidecar world mourned the loss of the Stella, with sidecar models becoming increasingly difficult to find. Sidecar importing and installation has become a luxury reserved for lucrative customs shops, and enthusiasts with the tools and know-how to take on the project at home Here at Scooterville, we saw the need for an affordable, attractive, modern scooter sidecar, readily available to the masses! A year and a half in the making, the Scooterville team has worked to engineer, design, and produce a 100% USA made sidecar mount, specifically for Genuine Royal Alloy Gt150’s. Where scooter sidecars of old lacked in handling, strength, and reliability- We created a mounting system that uses modern sidecar geometry, high quality materials, married to a strong, reliable new scooter- Paired with our patented Sidecar Wrangler steering dampener, we created a completely new and unique riding experience. After these 18 months of hard work, you are looking at a fine imported Royal alloy GT150, paired with a tried-and-true Cozy Euro Sidecar, with a mounting system designed, fabricated, painted, and produced right here in the Twin Cities.
