About the Ducati Desmo250 MX

At the center of the motorcycle is an entirely new 249.7cc single-cylinder engine using Ducati's signature Desmodromic valve system. Producing 44.5 horsepower and capable of revving to 15,000 rpm, it's designed to keep pulling through the upper rev range rather than forcing the rider to shift early.
That's particularly useful on a motocross track, where carrying a gear through a corner or holding power over a jump can make a meaningful difference.
