2010 Triumph Street Triple R

First shown to the world in 2007, The Street Triple was a baby brother to the Speed Triple. The Street utilized the 675cc triple from the Daytona 675, with some mild tweaks to the powerband designed for urban riding. It was universally adored – back in 2010, MCN summed it up by saying “if you’re looking for a high-spec middleweight that blows the competition away, the Triumph Street Triple R is in a class of one.”

An up-spec “R” version made things even better thanks to upgraded suspension and brakes pulled from the Daytona – 41mm fully-adjustable KYB forks and a KYB shock. Triple Nissin discs (308mm front/220mm rear) with stainless steel lines took care of the braking. The Street Triple R put out a claimed 106 horsepower at 11,750 rpm and 50 lb-ft at 9,100 rpm through a six-speed transmission. More aggressive. More attitude. Street Triple R. It's a Street Triple with attitude.
