The motor continues to boast an extremely compact and slim design that perfectly matches the KTM SX-E 5's minimal chassis. It is also dust and water proof which makes it wear and maintenance-free, while the integrated control unit (ECU) guarantees a direct, but very controllable power delivery.ChassisFrameThe KTM SX-E 5 frame is forged from lightweight, high-strength Chromoly steel profiles and combines maximum longitudinal stiffness with optimum torsional rigidity. The modification provides more robustness, handling and a tougher rear shock mounting point. The subframe is made of lightweight, fiberglass reinforced plastic, which can be mounted in diffrent positions for different seat heights. This means that the KTM SX-E 5 can 'grow' with your young racer.Ergonomics & comfortHandlebarThe KTM SX-E 5 uses high-quality tapered NEKEN handlebars. This allows for a lock-on ODI grip to be mounted on the left side while the right side features a throttle assembly with a vulcanized ODI grip, specifically developed for the electronic drive. An additional crash pad on the handlebar brace protects the rider from rough contact.Software & ElectronicsBatteryThe KTM SX-E 5 is fitted with 84 modern lithium-ion cells in a robust die-cast aluminum casing that is mounted just above the electric motor. This means the stored energy is 907 Wh, which is enough for more than two hours of riding for a beginner and approximately 30 min full-throttle racing, depending on conditions and terrain. The integrated battery management system (BMS) ensures the safety and longevity of the battery pack. Charging time has been reduced, with 0-80% capacity achievable in 45 minutes while 0-100% is possible in just 70 minutes.Warranty & SupportPremium Manufacturer's WarrantyThis motorcycle comes with a Premium Manufacturer's Warranty.
