Power delivery is smooth and throttle response is crisp throughout the rpm range making this the ideal machine for a variety of riding situations. For added comfort especially in heavy traffic, the innovative radiator fan directs hot air down and away from the rider. Electric start offers easy starting; fuel injection helps with reliable starting in a wide range of conditions and contributes to improved fuel economy.DUAL-SPORT CAPABILITYEXPERIENCE ON- AND OFF-ROAD THRILLSThe KLX®300 motorcycle exhibits agile maneuverability whether on- or off-road thanks to a slim, lightweight perimeter frame. The caster angle (26.7°) and short wheelbase contribute to quick handling, while the high rigidity of the frame ensures straight-line stability. Long-travel suspension is trail-tuned and offers 10.0 inches of travel up front and 9.1 inches in the rear. The 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork has adjustable compression damping to optimize fork performance for conditions and personal preference. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension offers bump absorption and rebound damping adjustability, and fully adjustable preload, allowing riders to tailor shock settings to personal preference. Substantial braking power comes thanks to a 250mm petal disc and twin-piston caliper up front and a 240mm petal rear disc and single-piston caliper. Strong dual-sport performance is further enabled with a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel.
