Description
The 2022 KTM RC 390 underwent a massive overhaul, focusing on weight reduction and advanced electronics that usually belong on much larger bikes. It is powered by the proven 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, now Euro-5 compliant, delivering 44 hp and an increased 27.3 lb-ft of torque thanks to a 40% larger airbox. Key Specifications * Chassis: All-new trellis frame with a bolt-on subframe; 3.3 lbs lighter than the previous gen. * Suspension: Fully adjustable WP APEX 43mm inverted forks (30 clicks compression/rebound) and a WP APEX rear shock. * Brakes: Single 320mm front disc with radially mounted ByBre 4-piston calipers; 230mm rear disc. * Weight: Significant unsprung weight savings—new wheels alone saved 7.5 lbs. Dry weight is approx. 342 lbs. * Electronics: Class-leading suite including Cornering ABS, lean-angle sensitive Traction Control, and a Supermoto ABS mode. * Fuel Capacity: Increased to 3.6 gallons (up from 2.6) for better range. This bike is a night-and-day difference from the older models in terms of handling and tech.
