Electronic Riding Aid Systems
ABS CORNERING: An anti-lock braking system is a safety system that prevents a vehicle’s wheels from locking during heavy braking. Essentially, the ABS regulates the braking pressure on the wheel, allowing it to continuously have traction on the riding surface. There are different ABS intervention levels, depending on the selected Riding Mode.
BLIND SPOT DETECTION (BSD): The BSD (Blind Spot Detection) system signals vehicles that are in the blind spot of vision via the LEDs positioned on the rear-view mirrors, illuminating the one positioned on the side where it detects the presence of a vehicle. The BSD also signals the approaching from behind of vehicles at high speed.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC): Adaptive cruise control, also known by the acronym ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), is an electronic control system that adjusts the speed of the vehicle while automatically maintaining a safe distance (selectable on four levels) from the vehicles in front. This makes it possible to ride at a constant speed on a motorway, for example, without twisting the throttle.
DUCATI BRAKE LIGHT (DBL): In the event of sudden braking, automatically activates the flashing of the rear light to alert the following vehicles, a solution that further improves rider’s safety.
ÖHLINS SMART EC: Semi-active Ohlins suspension, mounted on the sportiest models in the Ducati range starting from the 1299 Panigale, based on the Öhlins Smart EC system.
DUCATI QUICK SHIFTER (DQS): Electronic system derived from racing that allows you to change gears without using the clutch and without closing the throttle when shifting to a higher gear.
DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT (DRL): These are the daytime running lights that are used to comply with the obligation to use dipped headlights during the day.
DUCATI TRACTION CONTROL (DTC): Traction control is a system that prevents (or limits) spin of the rear wheel under acceleration. Gently manages engine clearance recovery, modulating the torque delivered and avoiding the peak that can occur when clearance recovery is complete, so as to make it even easier and more predictable. acceleration out of corners.

VEHICLE HOLD CONTROL (VHC): Allows easier uphill starts even with a passenger and fully loaded bike. When the brake lever is pulled firmly, the system holds the vehicle stationary by activating the rear brake for several seconds until further acceleration or braking takes place. Easy to use, it ensures optimal bike control and maximum safety.
DUCATI CORNERING LIGHT (DCL): LED lights that turn on in the direction of the road, according to a defined lean angle when the bike is facing a curve, allowing the rider to better see the road

DESMOSEDICI STRADALE: RACING DNA: Having won the hearts of the Ducatisti on the Panigale and Streetfighter, the 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale has been specifically adapted to the Multistrada with revised calibration and 180 hp. This merges sports performance with the balanced excellence for which the Multistrada family has always been renowned.
DRY CLUTCH: AN UNMISTAKABLE SIGNATURE: As in the Panigale V4 R and V4 SP, the Multistrada V4 RS also features the STM EVO-SBK dry clutch in billet aluminum. A component that does not just ensure a smoother ride when braking and shifting but also produces a sound that is unmistakably Ducati.
STATE OF THE ART ELECTRONICS: The Multistrada V4 RS is equipped with a state-of-the-art electronics package with front and rear radar technology as standard, which activates the Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection functions. It also incorporates Full Power Mode and Race Riding Mode, for maximum power in all gears and a prompt throttle response.
MULTISTRADA AESTHETIC: FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION.: The Multistrada V4 RS blends characteristics found in Ducati sport bikes with the elegant and dynamic Multistrada aesthetic. Carbon fiber components such as the front fender, hand guards, heat shield, and front “beak” create contrasts with the Iceberg White livery, enhanced with references to the color scheme of the Desmosedici MotoGP. The technopolymer tail section and titanium subframe accentuate the sportiness of the Multistrada V4 RS. The choice of titanium for the subframe allows for a 5.5 lb. weight saving with respect to the standard component.
SPORTS TAIL SECTION: The narrow and lightweight technopolymer tail integrates the passenger grab handles. With no top case fixing systems, the side view is lighter, accentuating the bike’s sports attitude.
DIRECT HANDLEBAR ATTACHMENT AND NEW GRIPS: The grips flaunt a sportier new design and a softer material. With no silent block, the handlebar is rigidly attached to the steering head for a more direct riding feeling.

FORGED WHEELS: The Marchesini forged aluminum wheels offer total precision over mixed sections and speed in reaching the apex, as well as nearly a 6 lb. weight reduction with respect to standard cast wheels.
SUPERBIKE BRAKING SYSTEM: Derived from the Panigale V4, the braking system adopts red Brembo Stylema calipers that act on a pair of 330 mm discs

SUPERBIKE ENGINE: DESMOSEDICI STRADALE: The Multistrada V4 RS is the only Multistrada powered by the Desmosedici Stradale, the MotoGP-derived engine used on the Panigale and the Streetfighter. Smooth and uniform at low to medium revs, and electrifying at high rpm. The Multistrada V4 RS version delivers maximum power of 180 hp, ten more than the Multistrada V4.
UNMISTAKABLE DUCATI SOUND: Supported by desmodromic timing, the aluminum STM EVO-SBK dry clutch invokes the unmistakable Ducati sound. Combined with the exhaust, it creates a sound that stands out for its deep timbre at low revs and superbike roar at high rpm.
DESIGNED FOR COMFORT: As on the Multistrada V4, the rear bank on the Multistrada V4 RS is deactivated when the bike is stationary and when the engine temperature exceeds 158° F to improve thermal comfort.
