Simple, attainable, and ready to customize. The new 2025 TRACER 9 combines thrilling CP3 power and sportbike agility with the capability to cover long distances with ease.

Features may include:

• New Customizable YRC Ride Modes

Owners can customize their riding experience via new Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) settings, which allow the selection of engine power characteristics and electronic intervention levels to suit conditions or rider preference. For quick, easy selections, three integrated riding modes are programmed with factory settings to suit different situations: SPORT, STREET and RAIN. Additionally, riders can create two custom programs with tailored settings to suit exact preferences.

• New Seven-Inch TFT Display

A new seven-inch high-brightness TFT instrument display has a slimmer housing and three selectable display themes available to suit different riding situations and rider preferences. There is also a convenient new smartphone box for storage along with a USB-C socket for charging phones or powering other electronic devices.

• Powerful 890cc Liquid-Cooled Three-Cylinder DOHC Fuel-Injected Engine

The TRACER 9 features the world-renowned crossplane crankshaft 890cc CP3 engine. With a bore × stroke of 78 mm × 62.1 mm and an 11.5:1 compression ratio, it provides the type of broad, linear torque and thrilling power delivery character that's perfect for Sport Touring.

• ENGINE

The CP3 engine mounts its cylinder bores forward, towards the exhaust side, reducing friction for more power and improved efficiency.

Direct-plated ceramic-composite cylinder bores provide excellent heat dissipation and further reduce friction.

The TRACER 9 features an Assist & Slipper clutch for a lighter clutch lever pull and smoother chassis behavior during downshifts.

• ELECTRONICS

Power delivery mode (PWR) allows rider to select throttle response characteristics to suit preference or conditions.

Yamaha's state-of-the-art six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit enables an advanced suite of lean-sensitive rider aids.

Lean-sensitive Brake Control (BC) System works with ABS to provide progressive brake force intervention as lean increases.

• CHASSIS/SUSPENSION

Lightweight SpinForged wheels decrease in the momentum of inertia at the rear by 11%, contribute to its agile handling character.

Dual 298mm front disc and single 267mm rear disc brakes along with lean-sensitive ABS ensure confident stopping power.

A radial Nissin master cylinder front brake setup contributes to a more linear supply of hydraulic pressure for excellent control and feel.
