The brain of the system is the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which engages a different map for each gear to give the very best performance as well as a Rollover Sensor which stops the motor in the event of a heavy fall. Put simply, by controlling the ignition timing and the amount of fuel injected, using sensor data such as intake air pressure, throttle position, and coolant temperature, the EMS takes care of everything related to fuel, air, and oil.
