The DesertX was engineered from the ground up with adventure riding in mind. Its dedicated off-road chassis features 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, generous ground clearance, and long-travel KYB suspension with fully adjustable front and rear components. Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires provide a capable combination of on-road manners and off-road traction.

Ducati's advanced electronics package gives the DesertX the versatility to adapt to changing terrain and riding conditions. Six Riding Modes, including dedicated Enduro and Rally modes, allow you to tailor the motorcycle's behavior to the situation, while Power Modes, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, Ducati Quick Shift up/down, and Cornering ABS help put the DesertX's performance under your control.

The adventure continues with a 5-inch full-color TFT display, full-LED lighting, cruise control, steering damper, USB and 12V power outlets, and a 5.54-gallon fuel tank. At approximately 463 pounds wet without fuel, the DesertX balances its substantial adventure capability with a chassis designed to remain agile and manageable.
