A new generation Supersport with Yamaha's legendary styling combines an advanced CP2 engine with an ultra-thin and lightweight chassis to provide torquey performance on both the track and the street.

HIGHLIGHTS:

WORLD-CLASS ENGINE
Torquey 689cc twin-cylinder DOHC fuel-injected CP2 engine. Lightweight titanium connecting rods, titanium intake valves and forged pistons. A 270-degree crankshaft delivers linear torque for exciting acceleration and limited vibration. Wired for an optional Quick Shift System to help provide speedy, smooth upshifts.

STEEL FRAME
High-strength steel frame with a rigid-mount aluminum center brace provides an optimized balance of rigidity. Fully adjustable inverted KYB® 41mm front fork with optimized settings provides excellent front-end feel. Linked-type Monocross rear shock offers spring preload and rebound damping adjustment.

SLEEK STYLE
Sleek R-Series styling including ultra-slim bodywork provides an aggressive look and optimal aerodynamics.
