ENGINE — The beating heart of the new Ducati XDiavel V4 is the V4 Granturismo engine, born out of Ducati experience in MotoGP. Powerful, torquey and incredibly smooth, it is lightweight and compact and offers exciting performance as well as linear delivery to suit every riding style. A masterpiece of engineering that stands out on XDiavel V4 for its exclusive glossy finish, which transforms it into a design element.

ERGONOMICS — Cruiser ergonomics meet Ducati sports attitude. The new XDiavel V4 is built to amaze, conceived to command the road, and designed to stand out. It combines the essence of a cruiser with Ducati sports DNA, for an agile bike that is easy to handle and ensures maximum comfort. With advanced suspension and brakes, it promises a safe and precise ride that adapts to every style and situation.

CHASSIS — Derived from Ducati Corse experience, the chassis solutions aim to improve performance on track, so that amateurs and pros alike can repeatedly set lower lap times with less effort. Thanks to solutions such as the new Ducati Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm and Front Frame with reduced lateral stiffness, a rider’s speed on track and enjoyment on the road reach unprecedented levels.

ELECTRONICS — Advanced technology for a new riding experience. The new XDiavel V4 comes complete with a cutting-edge electronics package to maximize riding pleasure. From the new TFT display to the riding modes, every detail is designed to offer control, safety, and a customizable riding experience wherever you go.

• New 6.9” color TFT display with 8:3 aspect ratio: Higher resolution, sets new standards for readability and data it provides.


• Hands Free Ignition. The system also involves an electronic actuator for the steering lock.


• Cruise Control makes for more relaxing motorway trips. Activation is visible on the dashboard and the system can also be deactivated by twisting the throttle grip forwards.


• 4 Riding Modes: Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet


• 3 Power Modes associated with the riding modes: High, Medium, Low.

The XDiavel V4 combines bold design with cutting-edge technology. It has been completely revamped in every aspect, with great attention to ergonomics and comfort. Thanks to Ducati's unmistakable Italian DNA, it is a true marriage of beauty and sophisticated technology. Its key features include:

• 1158 cc V4 Granturismo Engine — The Granturismo is the V4 engine derived from the Desmosedici Stradale. Electrifying performance is guaranteed with 168 hp and 93 lb-ft of torque. Powerful and responsive at all speeds, it offers an exceptionally smooth experience right from low rpm. Versatile and easy to ride, it’s as comfortable on the highway as it is fun through the twists and turns.


• Forward footpegs and Sport Cruiser ergonomics — The XDiavel V4 riding position is relaxed, with a wide handlebar, forward footpegs, and a roomy spoon-shaped seat. At the same time, the handlebar/footpeg/seat triangulation offers the necessary control to exploit the bike’s dynamic qualities. For those wanting a sportier riding position and greater lean angles, the footpegs can be centrally repositioned using the kit available as an accessory.


• Sporty chassis — The fully adjustable suspension on the XDiavel V4 consists of a 50 mm USD fork (with adjustment of the compression and preload on the left stanchion and rebound on the right stanchion) and a shock with separate reservoir. Wheel travel is 4.7 in at the front and 5.7 in mm at the rear, 1.3 in more than the XDiavel 1260 for increased rider and passenger comfort.


• 240 mm rear wheel with 5-spoke rim — The single-sided swingarm draws attention to the rear wheel, which mounts the imposing 240/45 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tire. The rim's five spokes form a star, reinforcing the reference to American muscle cars.


• Increased rider and passenger comfort — 30.3 inches from the ground, the spoon-shaped seat typical of a cruiser is made more comfortable with an extra 2.1 inches of foam with respect to the XDiavel 1260. Passenger comfort is boosted with a seat that is 30% wider, 50% roomier lengthways, and with foam that is 0.9 in thicker at the sides. The rear hand grip, provided with the bike, can be easily mounted on the tail section for a more secure handhold.


• Specialized Exhaust — Proudly on show, the four-exit exhaust dominates the scene. A great deal of work has gone into the sound quality, the Twin Pulse firing order of the V4 Granturismo producing a very characteristic sound, with the unmistakable Ducati two-tone timbre. A full racing exhaust system, not homologated for road use, is available as an accessory, boosting power by 11 hp and shaving off 24.2 lb of weight.


• Full LED Lighting System — The front DRL with double C design has the typical Ducati naked shape and narrows towards the top, highlighting the sleek appearance of the front end and wrapping itself around a single bifunctional module that has a more aggressive and technical look while also showing off the heat sink as a design element. The turn signals are integrated and create a blade of light that makes for a smooth, homogeneous look.
