Electric start offers easy starting; fuel injection helps with reliable starting in a wide range of conditions and contributes to improved fuel economy.DUAL-SPORT CAPABILITYEXPERIENCE ON- AND OFF-ROAD THRILLSThe KLX®300 highly versatile motorcycle exhibits agile maneuverability whether on- or off-road thanks to a slim, lightweight perimeter frame. The caster angle (26.7°) and short wheelbase contribute to quick handling, while the high rigidity of the frame ensures straight-line stability. Long-travel suspension is trail-tuned and offers 10 in of travel up front and 9.1 in in the rear. The 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork has adjustable compression damping to optimize fork performance for conditions and personal preference. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension offers bump absorption, compression and rebound damping adjustability, and fully adjustable preload, allowing riders to tailor shock settings to personal preference. Substantial braking power comes from a powerful 250mm petal disc and twin-piston caliper up front and a 240mm petal disc and single-piston caliper in the rear. Strong dual-sport performance is further enabled with a 21-in front wheel and 18-in rear wheel. Wheel rigidity contributes to light, smooth handling and offers great durability for off-road riding.COMFORTABLE ERGONOMICSRIDE IN COMFORTThe KLX®300 dual-sport’s rider-friendly ergonomics closely align with the KLX®300R off-road motorcycle, offering an upright and relaxed riding position. Footpegs are positioned closer to the bike’s centerline for optimal riding comfort during on- and off-road excursions. Complementing adventure capabilities is a thick-padded seat that provides comfort on longer rides, while the 35.2-in seat height allows riders to comfortably reach the ground at stops for added confidence.
