The profile helps centralize mass while also keeping weight down. MOTORBig power and monstrous amounts of torque from a compact SOHC motor that weighs just 27kg, including the electric starter! The MC 450F rips but thanks to centralization being key to the motor's design, the 62 hp power unit is positioned more centrally within the frame, ensuring a positive effect on the bike's overall handling.CYLINDER HEADThe MC 450F cylinder head is compact, lightweight and benefits from a short profile that locates the single camshaft as close to the center of gravity as possible. Why? To significantly improve the handling. With lightweight 40mm intake and 33mm exhaust valves activated by rocker arms that are coated in a low-friction Diamond Like Carbon (DLC), the SOHC cylinder head provides both torque and precise throttle response.
